God has given us incredible hope and has called us to be a people of hope. One way to bring hope is to meet needs. We are doing this in 4 ways:

1 – Hope responders. We have had a great response to build a base of volunteers who are ready to meet needs.

2 – Agape gifts. Thanks to the generosity of God’s people we have some money set aside to help those in need. If you or someone you know is in need, please fill out The Hope Project form.

3 – Partnerships. In South Lyon, we are partnering with Active Faith Food Pantry and Blessings in a Backpack. In Brighton, we are partnering with Brighton Village and Brookdale.

  • We have been blessed with an opportunity to provide a meal for our neighbors at Brighton Village! We are teaming up with Whisk & Ivy to hand out 75 dinners social distance style along with a bag of groceries per family.

To be involved, we will be having a Grocery Bag drop where you can fill a grocery bag to be handed out and simply drop it off at Brighton Village on April 30th between 4-5pm. Contact Alison Rosenthal with any questions.

4 – Networks and neighbors. Let’s all look to be the hands and feet of Jesus to do what we can to love our neighbors.

  • Do you love to sew? Our Women in Stitches Ministry has been making re-usable masks and scrub caps for local medical and health facilities. Get in touch with them via their facebook page.
